Loudonville Theatre & Arts Committee (LTAC)

Supporting The Ohio Theatre since 1994

What is LTAC?

LTAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports The Ohio Theatre, which is owned and operated by the Village of Loudonville. We raise funds, coordinate volunteers, and champion the preservation and programming of Loudonville’s historic 1909 theatre. Through community generosity and countless volunteer hours, LTAC ensures the theatre remains a vibrant cultural hub for the Mohican region.

The Loudonville Theatre & Arts Committee (LTAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring, promoting, and supporting The Ohio Theatre. Our mission is to preserve this historic venue and provide educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities for the people of Loudonville, its visitors, and surrounding communities.

LTAC works both independently and in partnership with the Village of Loudonville to maintain the theatre’s legacy and expand its impact for future generations.

LTAC provides funding, volunteer support, and project leadership for:

  • Theatre restoration & preservation

  • Technical upgrades (sound, lighting, projection)

  • Youth arts education

  • Mohican Community Theatre productions

  • Community events & cultural programming

  • Equipment, technology, and facility improvements

  • Annual operating support for the theatre

⭐ Recent LTAC Projects & Improvements

Over the years, LTAC has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into The Ohio Theatre. Thanks to generous donors, community support, and grant funding, LTAC has completed numerous improvements that help keep our historic theatre thriving.

Here are some of the most recent and impactful projects:

2025

  • $10,000 toward theatre operating expenses

  • Additional DPA microphones

  • New soundboard

2024

  • New lighting trusses

  • $10,000 toward operating expenses

  • Chromebooks and graphic tablets for Arts Alive

  • Updated computer software

  • Digital displays

2023

  • New Movie Screen

  • New Wireless Microphone System

2022

  • $12,000 to help with Operating Expenses

Community Theatre At Its Best

LTAC proudly supports Mohican Community Theatre, the resident community theatre program at The Ohio Theatre. MCT has produced decades of musicals, plays, youth productions, and special events that bring local talent to the stage.

LTAC funds and supports Arts Alive, the theatre’s youth arts education program. This includes:

  • Theatre workshops

  • Summer camps

  • Youth productions

  • Technology and equipment for creative learning

  • Scholarships and program support
